Be the blanket for my bones,
Be a place that I call home.
Feel night slither up my toes,
Take me out of these sweat soaked clothes,
Slip within my skin & spend the night,
Like buttercream glowing in pale moolight.
Feel my presence, use my sight.
Be the light when I’m alone,
Show me what it means to grow.
Sleep walks & dream talks as feet mark time,
Thoughts recycled as we build the rhyme.
We peel the grime and start to shine.
