Haiku Tuesday Under Heavy Clouds

a distant roaring

ebbing daily as the moon

nightly sheds her light

gliding through midair

momentarily stopping

consuming essence

words catalyzing

outer manifestation

of wishes divine

breaching the mirror

displays only reflections

of past silhouettes

thundering ego

seeks satisfaction

repressing lightness

lightspeed warmth flowing

coronal mass ejection

through distant vacuum

winds blowing stronger

across darkening night skies

inner storms howling

Sonnet 1017

Now living in these visions of the past,

Rooted to our circular time future.

As the smith blends metals into pewter,

Man bonds break, others form to last.

Melding differing views from eyes in contrast

Old wounds never healed, now set in sutures,

Compressing files of an old computer,

Forging forward at speeds quite beyond fast.

Collectively defying illusion,

Joined together, seeking human fusion.

diving within to seek answers we find

Forged by the limitations of our own mind.

Unblinded by reason, revealing truth.

The hidden godseeds within us, divine.

Haiku Tuesday [The Saga Begins]

time swirling in slow motion

seen gazing skyward

a hazy night sky

glimpses of pearly whiteness

glowing in deep red

echoes of laughter

experiencing each breath

bonded together

from cold solitude

blossoming brotherhood of

ancient ninja souls

following the way

leading to higher purpose

strokes under midnight

words among firelight

ignite embers in the mind

seeding new ideas

paradise occurs

stepping forth boldly outside

Haiku Tuesday [West Becoming East Edition]

images upon the screen

recalling past lives

delivered by loves glow

straining to be loosed

chains of unknown origin

restrain liberty

ever-changing art

aerosol upon canvas

here deftly sprayed

awakened by heaven’s hand

lazily blinking

swirling airborne dust

coming together freelyeffortlessly here

unmasked by hardship

buried inside the minds eye

hidden potential

… and so I go, On

All the days trapped in a haze,

Bobbin’, weavin’, lost in space.

Tracking features of the maze

Stopping only, just to blaze.

Reflecting through the mirror

Idly perfecting, vision clearer.

Won’t stop searching til I see her,

Can’t stop hurting til she’s nearer.

So I’ll keep on jumpin’ bars,

‘Cause it’s out there, somewhere far,

Beyond the asteroids, planet Mars,

Know I’ll find it, in the stars.

The place of peace, not death release.

Filled with trees & falling leaves.

No need for words, just hear the breeze.

Beyond all care, we’ll lay

Caught in the stare, a lovers’ play;

Of nights so short, we seize the day,

Until it all just fades away.

Set on Staring

What is it when we look into the eyes of another that captivates us so? Where do we go when we stare into the abyss of someone else? A pair here on this thought:

Venus rises, sure surprises.

As autumn leaves turn in the trees.

Moon shining bright in pure delight,

As Saturn stares, relieving the cares.

Waves lap at knees, incensed by the breeze,

Weakening my knees as her eyes say please.

Cool ocean air blows through her hair.

Then sun fades down low,

And lips gently begin to flow.

Sunrays filtered

     through his eyes.

As his mind strives

     for the prize.

Into the depths

     of untold lies.

Beyond the shadows

     of this guise.

Past the sound

     of fear, he cries.

As energy poured

     into his mind

Haiku Tuesday [Autumn Breeze Edition]

chill grows the air

blowing over rolling hills

under autumn sky

caught beneath the stare

millions of miles away

reflecting energy

clear the sky may be

but visions past & future

cloud the future’s path

seated, unmoving

recalling those ancient hills

over which he once reigned

propelled by sunset

caught upon old zephyr’s breath

gently swaying pines

beneath the sunset

diving through unseen currents

gold flecked wings of black
